Jeff Jackson is an accomplished songsmith who mixes an eclectic blend of soul, rock and pop into a unique acoustic set. A trained vocalist with a silky tenor voice, Jeff accompanies himself on guitar as he puts fresh spins on classic tunes while uncovering a few hidden gems, too.

Jeff specializes in cover songs—with a twist. As he explains it...“I like to make the strange sound familiar and the familar sound strange.” He's also fond of tossing in a few imaginative mashups. Jeff carefully curates his set lists to provide a unique entertainment experience that is always accessible, yet fresh-sounding.

Jeff offers his audiences “Request Cards” with a list of over 100 songs in his repertoire, adding a fun, inclusive twist to his act.

But front and center is always his dynamic voice. With impressive range and control, Jeff's vocals are at once powerful and tender, intimate and dynamic.

CANCELLED due to illness. Sorry.

Jeff Jackson was born and raised in Northern New Jersey in the shadow of New York City before relocating to L.A. in 2014. The youngest of three, he was weaned on classic rock and soul by his older sisters and his first guitar was a department-store hand-me-down. He began taking lessons at age 12. Singing and songwriting came after high school, with Jeff going on to win local songwriting & talent competitions and penning several commercial jingles.

He studied voice in NYC under the famed father/son coaching team Marty and Don Lawrence (the latter of whom trained Lady Gaga, Jon Bon Jovi and Christina Aguilera). For awhile, Jeff segued into musical theater as both a performer and writer, having co-authored the off-Broadway musical Frankenstein, a faithful adaptation of the timeless Mary Shelley novel.

Jeff is also an accomplished graphic designer and filmmaker and he lives in Los Angeles with his talented and beautiful wife, Beth, their dog, Oliver, and two cats, Mickey and Grace. Although he spent most of his life on the East Coast, he now embraces SoCal living. “I dreamed of living in L.A. when I was a kid. It always seemed to be the coolest, most happening place on the planet. And I was right!”
